ABOUT ME

EMMA STENZEL

Throughout my life, I have always been able to express myself the best through writing. I've always considered reading and writing to be my forms of escape. Besides reading and writing, I also love math. I think my love of writing comes partially from being an only child. My family only consists of my mom, my dad, my dog Casey, and myself. I live in Larkspur, Colorado and I am currently a freshman at Castle View High School. Some of my favorite things are hiking, photography, tennis, and cooking.

NAME RESEARCH

PROJECT 1

This project was given to us the first week of Humanities 1. We were to research our full name and find out as much information as we can. Then, we were supposed to put it all together in one project, and this was my final product. The most interesting thing I found out was that my first and last name are both German. This is very well fitting because I come from a German heritage.

I AM POEM

PROJECT 2

The second project we were assigned was an "I AM Poem". We were given an outline and had to write a poem about ourselves from the outline. After a lot of work, this is the poem I came up with. I really enjoyed doing this project because it allowed me to express myself through writing. I have always loved to write poetry so this was a great project for me.

PERSONAL LOGO

PROJECT 3

In class, we learned specific reasons about why logos look the way they do. Then - we were supposed to design our own personal logo. Logos are supposed to be simple, yet pleasing to the eye. The first time I did my logo, it was too complicated. I went back and redid it and this is what I came up with. My design incorporates my favorite colors, and includes leaf branches that are an international symbol of trust. This represents what I value most in a person. These are the reasons why my logo looks the way it does.
